In which Con writes about things.

Yo, so a few updates.

Firstly, I'm improving my artwork! But I need to also improve my means of improvement, and get an exponential function going up in here. I'm sure that, assuming I keep working at it, I'm eventually going to be like one of those artists I oh-so-admire whose works you can peruse among my favorites. In my own way, though. You know how sometimes you have a really good idea for a drawing (or for any sort of creative project), and you know it's going to take a ton of work to execute, but you can't wait to get started anyway? It's like that. An exciting prospect.

Secondly, I've jogged all the way to a neighboring town recently. Google maps says it was something like 6.5 miles! Keeping in mind that I never did anything like cross-country in school, I was fatigued for the rest of the day, but very happy all the same. There came a point at which I pretty much could not run anymore, but at the same time I could not stop because I wasn't quite sure where the town center of the other town was, and always thought it might be just a few more minutes away. I'm not sure if that was healthy though. Probably wouldn't recommend that others exceed their usual routine by that much.

Thirdly, classes at my university are starting again...kinda excited, kinda nervous, all that good stuff. Mainly because one of my friends got expelled and the other got almost-expelled, so I have a roommate I haven't met yet. Can't wait to meet em. I'm hoping I have more time this semester for parkour club and LoL club, and overall stuff I enjoy rather than those pretentious business organizations that I also have to be a part of...I swear most of them don't even try to hide that their members are just there for something to put on their resume. At least it's more honest that way. Well, such is life.
